Poster Design
Typography, Poetry, and Mental Health
Coleman Health Center & Wick Poetry Center

In collaboration with the Coleman Health Center and Wick Poetry Center I was tasked with creating a typographical poster design based on real patient poems. During this process I utilized the meaning I found in the poem ‘Loneliness’ by Rick K in which he discusses how lonely he feels. Slowly through the text he discusses how he doesn’t want to feel this way anymore like he was trying to free himself from this burden. I created a maze for this design because in my own experience I have had mental health struggles and during that journey sometimes you take the wrong turn or go down the wrong path just like a maze.
